"Why the U.S. Has No National Health Insurance"

In the Spring of 2005, accomplished alum Jill Quadagno (center, with David Ekerdt and Joane Nagel) returned to share her creative work with us. She spoke on, “Why the U.S. Has No National Health Insurance,” in a talk sponsored by the KU Gerontology Center.

Professor Quadagno is the Mildred and Claude Pepper Eminent Scholar in Social Gerontology and Professor of Sociology at Florida State University. Her new book is titled One Nation, Uninsured: Why the U.S. Has No National Health Insurance, Oxford University Press.
