.......Professor Arnold (PhD Chicago) specializes in the measurement
and theory of juvenile delinquency. His recent research projects
include theories of criminal justice, disproportionate minority
confinement, and studies of movements to revise laws relating
to crime. His interests also include the sociology of religion.
He is the author of Juvenile Misconduct and Juvenile Delinquency
(1983) and of two articles on counterfeiting in the new Encyclopedia
of Crime and Deviance. Areas: Medical and Legal Systems,
and Social Change.
