Adrianne is a new Master's student in the University of Kansas Sociology department.  She attended Southern Nazarene University (don't worry- most people haven't heard of it either) in windy Oklahoma and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Cultural Ministry in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2007. During that time, she spent a semester in mother Russia and upon graduation, promptly left the country again-this time for South Africa to do community development work with her church. She has, for the time being, satiated her desire for international gallavanting, and is hard at work studying social change, social movements, inequality and social theory and trying to narrow all that down to a thesis topic that will facilitate future studies and involvement in teaching and/or incarnational community development and/or Eastern European studies and/or making friends with homeless people and/or making some sort of positive impact somehow somewhere.  Feel free to contact her if you want to see pictures and hear her life story over a cup of tea.
