Ada Van Roekel-Hughes earned her B.A. in sociology at New Mexico State University in spring 2006 and her M.A. in sociology at the University of Kansas in fall 2008. She is currently working towards her area exams in the fields of sociology of culture and race/ ethnicity. Her recent interests include inequality within technology and the internet along racial/ ethnic lines. Dr. Brian Donovan is serving as her advisor.
